Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Regional Secretariat of Malang City Drs. Abdul Malik, M.Pd received a visit from the Interfaith Harmony Forum (FKUB) of Pesawaran Regency, Lampung Province at the Majapahit Room, Malang City Hall, Wednesday (10/10).
The group of 17 guests was led by the Head of FKUB Pesawaran Regency, H. Giarto, M.Pd.I. Also present at the event were the Head of FKUB Malang City H. Ahmad Taufiq Kusuma along with members of FKUB Malang City and related Regional Apparatus Organizations.
In his speech, Assistant for Government and Social Welfare of the Malang City Regional Secretariat Abdul Malik welcomed the leadership and all the FKUB Pesawaran Regency entourage. "Thank you for giving us the trust to make Malang City the destination city for the working visit," he said.
Through a working visit like this, Malik hopes that a better relationship will be established in the future between the two regions. "Later, this good relationship will continue in various programs, especially those related to the welfare of the people," he added.
"The harmony that was created in Malang City was created because the community implemented the slogan One soul greeting Arema in everyday life. All differences and disputes can be resolved by respecting each other," explained Malik.
Giarto said the same thing. He also hopes that today's working visit can provide lessons that can later be implemented in Pesawaran Regency. He also expressed his gratitude for the acceptance of the FKUB of Pesawaran Regency to carry out this working visit.
Meanwhile, the Head of FKUB Malang City Ahmad Taufiq, explained about various conflict handling in Malang City that has been faced so far. "Conflict between religious communities is a natural thing. To overcome it is by building communication, with good communication will certainly create a conducive atmosphere," he said. (say/yon)
