Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – The Indonesian Ministry of Communication and Informatics collaborated with the Ayo UMKM Online Selling Movement, Bukalapak and the Malang City Government (Communication and Information Agency and Cooperatives and Micro Business Agency) to hold an Online Shopping and Selling Socialization Forum; Cheap, Fast and Safe at the Pertamina Polinema Hall, Thursday (11/10).
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, attended the event and opened the event which was attended by hundreds of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) throughout Malang Raya. The Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service, Zulkifli Amrizal, S.Sos, M.Si, the Head of the Malang City Cooperative and UM Service and the Lowokwaru Sub-district Head were also present on this occasion.
In his speech, Sutiaji expressed his strong support for the empowerment of MSMEs carried out in Polinema at this time. This is because MSMEs have proven their resilience in facing various crises that have occurred so far.
"We hope that with this coaching, MSME products in Malang City can move up a class, able to compete with other products on the market," hoped Sutiaji, Thursday (11/10).
On this occasion, Sutiaji also explained his desire to help MSMEs in Malang City by establishing an MSME Mall which is planned to be placed in the town square mall.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service of Malang City, Dra. Tri Widyani P., M.Si explained that this activity is a synergy between the ministry and the region as well as with universities and the Malang City MSME community in order to provide assistance to MSMEs which from the work program of the Malang City Government wants to provide opportunities for MSMEs to promote their products.
"We must continue to synergize and develop networking from various parties, one of which is through this event, synergy between the Cooperatives and Micro Business Service and the Ministry of Communication and Information who care about the development of MSMEs in Malang City," said Yani, Tri Widyani's nickname.
As a form of support for Malang City's MSMEs, the Ministry of Communication and Information also provided support by inviting one of... marketplace the largest in Indonesia, namely Bukalapak.
The socialization forum continued with Sharing session from Dias Satria who is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Brawijaya University and founder of UMKM Jagoan and Andre Uno, representative of the Bukalapak Malang community. (cah/yon)
