Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Communication and Information Service (Kominfo) held a Malang City ICT Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting Workshop at the Gajahmada Hotel, Wednesday (17/10).

Present to open this activity was the Head of the Malang City Communication and Information Service Zulkifli Amrizal, S.Sos, M.Si. In his speech, Zulkifli gave many messages to the participants to follow this activity as best they could so that in the future they can be better in carrying out their duties.
According to Zulkifli, the increasingly rapid progress of ICT requires qualified human resources to be able to carry out tasks well.
"In this era, the role of information technology is absolutely necessary. Good skills in mastering ICT are needed to be able to meet the expectations of an increasingly advanced society," said Zulkifli, Wednesday (17/10).
He added that currently ICT is one of the main pillars of human civilization development. The reliability of ICT in almost all aspects of human life makes technology a source for the emergence of a new civilization.
"Currently, there is no area of life or development sector that does not require the use of ICT. The public is also increasingly aware that the presence of 'intervention' in the use of ICT is very necessary," he explained.
This ICT-based device, he said, would be able to provide maximum assistance in carrying out government functions, especially public services.
ICT has also developed, work tools, good ICT governance (IT-Governance), even ICT audit systems have also been developed widely in the world. "Therefore it is natural that the ICT audit system must also be considered in government governance," he explained further.
"Therefore, this activity is carried out not only to measure the ongoing ICT, but also to find out if there are any deviations that occur, so that the results can be used to make improvements to the deviations that occur and used for overall ICT management," he explained.
He also hopes that there will be suggestions and criticisms regarding the implementation of ICT, especially for audit purposes in the Malang City Government to support and improve excellent public services.
Meanwhile, Head of Informatics Application Division (Aptika) of Malang City Communication and Information Service Ir. Titis Andayani, MM said that this activity was attended by participants from OPD within the Malang City Government. "The purpose of holding this activity is to build distinctive characteristics, as well as provide insight and understanding of monitoring in an electronic-based government system," he said. (cah/yon)
