Bali (malangkota.go.id) – Achievement after achievement has been successfully carved by Malang City. This time, Malang City made an achievement by winning the Village/Sub-district and Provincial Competition at the East Java Level which was held some time ago.

After being crowned as the champion, Malang City was invited by the Directorate General of Village Government Development of the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia to participate in the 2018th National Appropriate Technology Work Meeting and the 18 Village and Sub-district Development Innovation Week held at the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park, Bali, from 22 to 2018 October XNUMX.
The award certificates and plaques were presented directly at the event which was also attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo (Jokowi).
Blimbing Sub-district, which successfully represented Malang City in the Sub-district Competition, demonstrated several of its innovative works as displayed in the competition.
Blimbing Sub-district has succeeded in creating a Self-Service Kiosk, Bioplant and Appropriate Technology, namely Electric Canting, which is considered an appropriate innovation in society.
Not only that, in the XX National Appropriate Technology Work Meeting, the bazaar booth from Malang City was also considered the best compared to several regions in East Java. Not only that, in the quiz competition represented by the TP PKK of Blimbing District and Blimbing Village also achieved brilliant achievements by winning first place.
Responding to the achievement, the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji greatly appreciated the achievement that had been achieved. "Innovation is the key in regional development efforts, especially in Malang City," he said, Monday (22/10).
"First, on behalf of the Malang City Government, I would like to congratulate Blimbing Village because this innovation has won first place in the East Java Province competition," said Sutiaji.
The Mayor of Malang said that his party will continue to explore the potential of sub-districts in Malang City that have ideas and innovations that are appropriate and can be used by the community easily.
