Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Good business planning in the midst of tight market competition is needed in business development. In an effort to increase the capacity of micro-entrepreneurial capabilities in Malang City, the Malang City Cooperative and Micro Business Service held an activity to Increase the Capacity of Micro-Entrepreneurial Capability through a Technical Guidance on Making a Business Plan for Micro-Entrepreneurs at the Trio Indah 2 Hotel in Malang City, Tuesday (13/11).
Head of the Cooperatives and Micro Business Service of Malang City Dra. Tri Widyani P., M.Si was present to open the event. The invited resource person was a business development expert from Surabaya, namely Pwee Lang, SE, SH, M.Kom.
Tri Widyani said that the Malang City Government is very focused on developing the people's economy. "We hope that this activity can further increase the competitiveness of small businesses in facing the tight global market competition. We want to continue to help small businesses so they can move up a class," hoped Yani, as Tri Widyani is familiarly called, Tuesday (13/11).
Yani added, some things that are now being pushed by the government include how to continue to provide assistance. Be it the production process, marketing to arranging administration so that the business can run smoothly.
"When the agency (Cooperatives and Micro Business Agency_ed) has facilitated by providing training, it is hoped that business actors can make the best use of this activity to absorb knowledge and expand their networks," he hoped again.
Small and medium business actors must have a big strategy so that the businesses they run can develop well. If that is achieved, according to Yani, then the shared ideals of driving the community economy can be achieved.
"The mayor has a strong vision and mission regarding how to boost the people's economy. We must capture this together as a spirit to achieve success," he said.
Meanwhile, the resource person for the activity, Pwee Lang, said that having a good business plan in running a business is very important in order to help small businesses be competitive. From experience so far, he said that many small businesses could not develop well because they did not have a plan in developing their business.
"When we do business, the profits are never certain. But the sacrifices to achieve them are certain," Pwee explained.
From that fact, an entrepreneur must be able to develop a business by minimizing losses. In this way, of course, good planning is needed so that the business being run can be profitable. (cah/yon)
