Jakarta (malangkota.go.id) – Another achievement was made by Malang City. This time iNews TV gave appreciation to Malang City through the 2018 Indonesia Award event for its achievements in development in the creative economy sector.
The event held at the Jakarta Concert Hall, iNews Tower, MNC Center, Central Jakarta, Thursday (16/11) was attended directly by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji accompanied by the Head of the Malang City Industry Service Drs. Subhan, Head of the Malang City Culture and Tourism Service Ida Ayu Made Wahyuni, SH, MM, Head of the Economic Development Section Rinawati and Head of Public Relations of the Malang City Secretariat Muhammad Nur Widianto, S.Sos.
The award for the appreciation of the success of creative development in Malang City, especially creative development based on digital applications, was received directly by the Mayor of Malang.
The large number of animators and digital application industry players, both games and internet in Malang City, has successfully led Malang City to achieve this achievement.
The large number of digital creative industry players in Malang City also contributes to the flourishing development of the creative economy industry in Malang City.
According to Sutiaji, Malang is a Millennial City. Where the digital creative industry is very interesting in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 like today.
"God willing, from Bumi Arema, the creative industry will develop and increasingly color the dynamics of our nation's economy. From Malang for Indonesia," he exclaimed.
"I hope that the achievements we have achieved will be a trigger and encouragement for us to continue developing the creative economy industry," he hoped later.
This achievement further solidifies the Malang City Government to continue building creative houses in 2019 so that young people and their communities can create and innovate. (ts/yon)
