Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Malang City deserves to be called a creative city, because currently creative young people are growing and developing rapidly. Especially creativity in the field of information technology which is growing day by day, where one of the triggers is the large number of universities.
That was what the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, said after opening the 2018 Station Festival. (Build Ecosystem & Human Capital For Digital Industries in Indonesia) at DiLO Telkom, Saturday (17/11).
For creativity, according to Sutiaji, Malang City is not inferior to other cities, such as Bandung and Yogyakarta. "In fact, Malang City can be said to be superior," he said.
Malang Mayor Sutiaji also gave a challenge for the advancement of creativity of these young people. "Continue to be creative, and prove that Malang City has advantages and is worthy of being reckoned with at the international level," he said encouragingly.
Furthermore, the bespectacled man said that the Malang City Government will provide full support for the growth of the creative economy. One of them is by preparing a creative house on Jl. Ahmad Yani.
After the opening ceremony, Malang Mayor Sutiaji greeted and interacted with the participants of the Station Festival. One of the participants also gave a souvenir to Sutiaji after he tried the fingerprint test which was the result of the participant's innovation. (say/yon)
