In the future, Sutiaji said a number of tax objects, especially those with high potential such as in the service and trade sectors, will continue to be explored and optimized. "In the next few years, we are targeting to achieve tax revenues of more than one trillion, and this is not something impossible," he said optimistically.
The bespectacled man added that it would be initiated and maximized from the ASN circles, because civil servants are also paid from taxes. "In addition, ASN must also be a good example of taxpayers for other citizens, so that tax revenues are in accordance with the target. Convenience and taxes that do not burden citizens will continue to be pursued," added Sutiaji.
He further said that so far, several sources of tax revenue for the City of Malang that are quite significant are land and building tax, entertainment tax, advertising tax, hotel tax and rental house or boarding house tax.
"Not only does the healthy walk provide attractive prizes, in the future various appreciations for taxpayers will also continue to be improved, both those that can be felt directly or indirectly, such as improvements to various infrastructures to support the activities and prosperity of the people," concluded Sutiaji.
