That is one of the success tips from Faiqotul Himmah when she was a resource person in the Technical Guidance for Marketing Micro Business Products held by the Cooperatives and Micro Business Service of Malang City, Monday (17/12).
Faiqotul said that before she could become a businesswoman like she is today, she never imagined that her bag business could grow. The woman from Bangkalan said that before becoming an entrepreneur, she was a teacher at a kindergarten in Bangkalan.
"When I see a plane flying by, I always dream of being able to ride it one day. Thank God, now that I have succeeded as a businessman and consultant, I can finally ride a plane," said the woman who used to be a kindergarten teacher in Bangkalan, Monday (17/12).
Faiqotul said that in order to explode the business potential they have, small and medium business actors must also often do promotions. Events such as training, technical guidance on marketing micro business products such as those held by the Malang City Cooperative and Micro Business Service like this are very effective.
"Therefore, every small business owner should not forget to bring a business card so they can introduce their products to the people they meet," said Faiqotul.
The existence of technical guidance like this, according to him, should be used as an opportunity to seek information opportunities, promotions and also get business relations. Because with the development of a business owned by someone, of course, it cannot be done alone.
"From an event like this, it can be a place to see how consumers' characters are, to get inspiration, innovations as provisions for developing a business," said Faiqotul.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Business Development and Strengthening Section, Micro Business Sector, Cooperatives and Micro Business Service of Malang City, R. Nugroho Nanang J., revealed that technical guidance like this was held to develop the capabilities of micro business actors in Malang City.
"This technical guidance activity was attended by participants who are small business actors in Malang City. The hope is that in the future small businesses in Malang City will be more advanced and highly competitive," Nanang hoped. (cah/yon)
