Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Strengthening the ties of friendship with the community, the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji attended a religious study in the context of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday as well as the inauguration and signing of the inscription of the Sunan Gunung Jati Grand Mosque located on Jl. Sampoerna Tengah, Cemorokandang, Malang City, Sunday (30/12).
On behalf of the Malang City Government, the Mayor of Malang, Sutiaji, hopes that along with the inauguration of the Sunan Gunung Jati Grand Mosque, more preaching can be done so that it can bring the people closer to Allah SWT.
"Goodness belongs only to Allah SWT, heaven belongs to Allah SWT, let's together pray to Allah SWT so that this city (Malang) continues to be given goodness," said Sutiaji praying for the city of Malang, Sunday (30/12).
As a servant of God, Sutiaji asked the community not to be trapped in the nature of envy, jealousy, incitement and arrogance. Do not feel superior, because the attitude of feeling superior will make it easier for the poor, make it easier for the stupid, where this will lead humans themselves into trouble.
On this good occasion, Sutiaji also invited all attendees to recite dhikr together to Allah SWT. "Only with a clean heart, all goodness and rewards will be able to bring humans closer to the Creator," he said. (cah/yon)
