Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The General Chairperson of the East Java Provincial Management (Pengprov) of the Indonesian Badminton Association (PBSI), Oei Wijanarko Adi Mulya inaugurated and confirmed the PBSI Malang City Management for the 2018-2022 period, Saturday (05/01/2019).
On this occasion, Oei hopes that in the future PBSI Malang City can achieve more. In addition, Oei also motivated PBSI Malang City to be able to hold national and even international scale events.
"In 2015, Malang City successfully held an international class competition at Graha Cakrawala, Malang State University. The event could be the basic capital for the next event," he said.
However, Oei continued, various infrastructure facilities must be further improved, so that it can be a good host. "It would be even better if Malang City had a special arena for badminton with adequate facilities or international class," he added.
In relation to this, the elected Chairman of PBSI Malang City, Heri Mursid Brotosejati, admitted that he is ready to hold various badminton championships in Malang City. "Various championships will increase the flying hours and quality of athletes, especially young athletes," he explained.
Likewise for national and international championships, Heri admitted that he was ready and would fulfill various facilities requested by the organizers. "The Malang City Government will certainly support, so that it will be easier in various preparations," he added.
"We will certainly try our best in every championship. For example, in the future, Graha Cakrawala Universitas Negeri Malang will be used as an arena, we will coordinate more intensively with the institution's top brass," concluded Heri. (say/yon)
