According to Eka, when met on Saturday (12/01/2019), Simerdu is an integrated internet-based medical record system and radio frequency identification which can be used in an integrated manner between doctor's clinics, community health centers and referral hospitals.
"Through a network and reader devices connected to the internet, this system is able to handle patient medical data on a large scale and can be easily monitored through an application or internet site," he explained.
For medical teams and health institutions, Eka explained, Simerdu will provide various conveniences in its operations. In addition to being transparent, Simerdu can also be managed easily, quickly and accurately, related to the patient's health condition, list of diseases that have been suffered, medicines usually consumed during illness, allergies and medical treatments that have been received by the patient.
"Uniquely, the Simerdu system is not only focused on the patient's medical history related to the patient's medical treatment, but will also be developed to be connected and integrated with BPJS Kesehatan and E-KTP services," he said.
In order to facilitate patients who hold accounts and medical personnel, Eka also provides two alternative identification devices for each patient, namely an ID bracelet and a magnetic card like an ATM card or an Electronic ID card. (say/yon)
