Sutiaji, that a solution must be found immediately. He conveyed this in an audience held in the Malang Mayor's Meeting Room, Wednesday (16/1/2019) with school principals located in the Jl. Bandung area.

Also present to accompany the Mayor of Malang in this audience were the Regional Secretary of Malang City, several related OPDs, namely the Transportation Agency, Satpol PP, Housing and Residential Area Agency, Malang City Ministry of Religious Affairs Office, Traffic Communication Forum, Klojen Sub-district Head, Penanggungan Village Head, and the Public Relations Section of the Malang City Secretariat.
"We are sitting together now to find the best solution to the traffic jam, a solution that does not harm many parties," explained Sutiaji.
From various inputs that have been received during the hearing, several points were agreed upon to resolve the traffic congestion problem on Jl. Bandung, precisely in the area of TK Restu, MIN 1 Malang, MTsN 1 Malang and MAN 1 Malang.
The first point is that from 06.00 WIB to 08.30 WIB only the system applies. drop zones for students' escorts and are not allowed to park, and after 08.30 WIB parking is only allowed at a 30 degree angle. "Motorcycles are prohibited from parking along the road and must be parked in the school yard," he said.
The regulation will be enforced starting Monday (21/1/2019) and will be tested for one month. During the month, the Mayor of Malang instructed the Malang City Transportation Agency to conduct daily evaluations and report them.
