Deputy Mayor Hands Over PTSL Program Land Certificates to Mulyorejo Residents

Sofyan Edi Jarwoko symbolically handed over 416 land certificates from the PTSL (Complete Systematic Land Registration) program of the National Land Agency (BPN) of Malang City to Mulyorejo residents at the Mulyorejo Village Office, Sukun District, Malang City, Thursday (24/01/2019).

Also present at the handover of the certificates were the Head of the Malang City BPN Masduki, Acting Head of Sukun District IK Widi, Mulyorejo Village Head R. Syahrial Hamid, Sukun Sub-district Leadership Coordination Forum, Babinsa, Babinkamtibmas, and community leaders of Mulyorejo Village.

PTSL, which is a strategic government program and innovation of the Ministry of ATR/BPN, is a manifestation of the implementation of the government's obligation to guarantee legal certainty and protection for community land ownership.

In addition, later on, people who have received certificates can use them as capital for mentoring businesses that are empowering and effective for improving people's welfare.

In his speech, the Deputy Mayor of Malang conveyed that the people of Mulyorejo Village should be grateful for the PTSL program. "A total of 616 land certificates have been submitted, previously 200 certificates have been distributed, and today there are 416 certificates submitted," he explained.

Next, the rest will follow according to the existing quota. "It has been ordered properly by the Head of the BPN Office, if there are any deficiencies in the requirements, they will be completed. Therefore, all of this is prepared for the people of Indonesia, and today in the Mulyorejo Village area," said Bung Edi, the nickname of the Deputy Mayor of Malang to the people in Mulyorejo Village.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Malang City BPN, Masduki, said that during January 2019, he will complete the certificates in two sub-districts in Malang City, namely Madyopuro Sub-district and Mulyorejo Sub-district.

He emphasized that the Malang City BPN is targeting to immediately complete 45 thousand plots of land or 18 percent that have not been certified. "Currently we continue to reduce the target number," he said. (EM/yon)
