Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Although not so affected by flooding during heavy rain, the Lowokwaru Subdistrict, Lowokwaru District, Malang City still needs repair and construction of culverts (drainage). This program is more at the level of need and it is time for repair and construction of water channels.
This was conveyed by the Head of Lowokwaru Village, Drs. Khabibah, MM during the Village Development Planning Meeting (Musrenbang) held in the hall of the Lowokwaru Village Office, Saturday (26/01/2019). According to him, if the drainage channels are good, it will provide a sense of security for residents, meaning they will not worry about flooding or overflowing water when it rains.
In addition to drainage, one of the priority programs proposed in this year's musrenbang is paving in several places. Khabibah said that this is also more at the level of community needs, so the program will be proposed in this year's musrenbang.
No less important, said the veiled woman is a community empowerment program such as through TP PKK, Karang Taruna and Dasa Wisma. "The derivative programs can later be training or adding infrastructure needed by the community," she added.
In the musrenbang attended by various elements of the village, Khabibah continued to emphasize priority programs and those that are vital needs of the community. He also suggested that the musrenbang be utilized as well as possible to discuss and propose important points and be monitored until they are realized. (say/yon)
