Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko reminded the young generation of future leaders of the nation not to forget the noble values of Pancasila in life and living, so that later a generation will be born that can bring change towards a better direction for this nation.
He conveyed this when opening the National Seminar 'Exploring Indonesian Economic Values Based on Pancasila' which was held at the Graha Cakrawala Building, State University of Malang, Tuesday (29/01/2019).
He added, in the midst of the advancement of information technology like today, anything can enter and be easily obtained in a short time. "If the advancement of information technology is not utilized properly, it will be a negative threat in the joints of life," he added.
Edi also reminded us about the noble values of Pancasila which are very important. Moreover, in Malang State University there is a Pancasila Laboratory (Pancasila Study Center/P3) which is used as a place for learning and studying Pancasila. "So from this campus it will become a pioneer in giving birth to a generation of the nation that is Pancasilaist," he added.
Given the importance of instilling the noble values of Pancasila from an early age, the bespectacled man emphasized that the Malang City Government will strengthen it in school-age children. "School age is the golden generation, and these young people are future leaders of the nation, so they must be well prepared," he said. (say/yon)
