Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – During 2018, the number of foreign tourists from various countries who stopped by Malang City was estimated to reach around five million people and domestic tourists reached 15 thousand people. In 2019, the Malang City Culture and Tourism Office (Disbudpar) is targeting a minimum increase in the number of tourist visits of at least 10 percent.

This was conveyed by the Head of the Tourism Marketing Section of the Tourism Division of the Malang City Culture and Tourism Office, Agung H. Buana, Thursday (31/01/2019) on the sidelines of a joint event.
Malang Raya Tourism Community (Parimaya). This event, he said, is also one of the real efforts of the Malang City Culture and Tourism Office to realize the target of tourist visits.
Agung added that the number of tourists coming to Malang City continues to increase over time, especially those staying at a number of hotels. "In addition, several artificial tourist destinations such as Kampung Warna-Warni, Kampung Tridi, Kampung Biru Arema and Kampung Glintung Go Green (3G), and others are a special attraction for tourists," he added.
In addition, culinary tourism such as Malang meatballs and Sanan tempeh chips also add to the comfort of tourists who come, so that we will continue to improve the various potentials. "Malang City also has many buildings heritage "which will further complement the comfort of tourists and also become educational tourism," he explained.
"To support all of that, the Malang City Government also has a Macyto bus (Malang City Tour) that is ready to take tourists around the city. On each bus there is which will explain the various histories of Malang City, especially the various cultural heritage buildings that the tour bus passes," he continued.
Meanwhile, Parimaya Chairperson, Andina Paramitha said that her party was pleased with the facilitation from the Malang City Government in the form of this tour bus.
