Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government (Pemkot) is currently implementing a follow-up scheme, namely forming a Selection Committee Team (Pansel) to fill various vacant positions within the Malang City PDAM.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji said on Friday (01/02/2019) that if the term of office of the Acting Director of PDAM Malang City ends and there is no definitive official to replace him, then there will be a vacant position, because the term of office of the Acting Director of PDAM Malang City will end in mid-February 2019.
On the other hand, the Malang City Government also added members of the PDAM supervisory team, so that the process of filling vacant positions is more optimal. "In this selection committee, in addition to the supervisory board, it also involves academics. Currently, the team is being made a decree so that it can work, such as opening vacancies, including for technical and financial directors," he added.
"The requirements for filling the position of president director at PDAM Malang City are adjusted to the Regulation of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Permendagri) No. 54 of 2017 concerning Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD). This regulation will be the basis for the process of selecting definitive officials," explained the mayor who is a badminton enthusiast.
Furthermore, Sutiaji said that his party will make maximum efforts, especially through the selection committee that has been formed so that the vacancy in the PDAM leadership ranks will be filled immediately before the term of office of the Acting Director ends. Thus, it will not disrupt the performance of PDAM, especially in terms of providing services to the community.
For your information, one of the BUMDs of Malang City, namely the Malang City Slaughterhouse (RPH), also has a leadership vacancy and to fill it will be a work package for the selection committee.
Sutiaji also appealed to the selection committee to work optimally and be able to carry out all their duties and responsibilities well. (say/yon)
