Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The creativity of Malang City residents has never faded from the past until now, this is proven in a painting exhibited at the Malang City DPRD Office. They are members of the Asta Citra Perupa Malang community which held the Indonesia Art Festival painting exhibition, Monday (4/2/2019).
The chairman of the organizer, Bambang Randika Santoso, revealed that there were 25 painters who participated in the exhibition which took place on 4-10 February 2019 at the Malang City DPRD Building.
"We want this exhibition to inspire the development of art in Malang City. This is a work kid kid "Malang," said Simbah, as Bambang Randika Santoso is familiarly called.
According to Simbah, this activity has been held five times by Asta Citra Perupa Malang. Where the goal is to be a place for actualization of artists in Malang to be able to interact directly with the community who like their works.
"In addition to being exhibited, these paintings are also sold. The most expensive price offered in this exhibition is Rp25 million," said Simbah.
This community raised the theme in this exhibition, namely, Indonesia Art Festival to highlight the various uniqueness and greatness of the Indonesian nation.
In the future, there will be a live painting display by the exhibition participants. So that in this way it can pamper visitors to get the paintings they want, including sketch paintings and face paintings.
The types of paintings exhibited this time include Java Dancer, market paintings, Bank Indonesia paintings, Pasar Besar, Bung Karno paintings and various other paintings. (cah/ram/yon)
