Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, inaugurated as many as 49 supervisory officials within the Malang City Government, Monday (4/2).
Chairman of the Malang City DPRD Bambang Heri Susanto, Regional Secretary of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH, Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP Widayati, S.Sos, MM and the Head of OPD within the Malang City Government were also present at the inauguration.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji in his speech said that before inaugurating these supervisory officials, the Malang City Government had first requested approval from the Ministry of Home Affairs and the East Java Provincial Government.
"This all refers to Law No. 5 of 2014 concerning ASN related to the merit system. This merit system is based on competency that we have no choice but to make efficient," explained Sutiaji, Monday (4/2).
In the future, especially administrative activities, there will have to be a direction of efficiency, which previously required a lot of... workers (workers), but with that system it is not, then it is cut. People who have innovations have good ideas will be rewarded according to performance.
"Currently, and previously we have thought very hard. Because why, because from the UPT which numbered 43, it has now been streamlined to 13. This has become a discussion that is confusing us, where are the 30 people," he said.
On the inauguration of these supervisory officials, Sutiaji congratulated them on their new positions, and asked them to understand their duties, internalize the existing rules, and carry them out according to the applicable rules. (cah/yon)
