Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City continues to intensify the recording and printing of Electronic KTP with a door-to-door system. As seen on Wednesday (20/02/2019), the Malang City Dispendukcapil opened a service in the front yard of Malang City Hall.

It is no wonder that since morning hundreds of residents have started to crowd and queue in front of the Malang City Dispendukcapil service car. Not only submitting data recording and printing of e-KTP, residents also submitted a renewal of their damaged e-KTP. Actually, this service is only for recording and printing of e-KTP, especially for residents who are taking care of e-KTP for the first time.
"However, because the enthusiasm of the residents was very high, finally all services were served even though the officers looked a bit overwhelmed," said Secretary of the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office, Slamet Utomo, SH on the sidelines of the service.
This service will be open for two days, namely Wednesday (20/02/2019) to Thursday (21/02/2019), along with the implementation of the Creative Market opened by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji.
After opening the Creative Market, the Mayor of Malang reviewed the implementation of the e-KTP service. The bespectacled man ensured that the services provided could run smoothly and all the equipment used was functioning optimally.
Slamet Utomo said that so far there have been no obstacles and his party will serve the public until the end of working hours, which is around 16.00 WIB. "To manage and record this e-KTP, residents only need to bring a photocopy of their family card, and the recording service for one e-KTP only takes between three and five minutes," he explained.
The outreach program is one of the government's programs, and is to fulfill citizens' needs in terms of ownership of population documents, namely the e-KTP.
"We also socialize the importance of KTP-El for residents, because this identity card is very vital and multi-purpose in life. If I may say, all residents are required to have KTP-El so that when carrying out various activities they are well served," he continued.
"In addition to schools and Islamic boarding schools, we also target and conduct outreach services for recording e-KTP to other strategic locations, such as hospitals, police stations and sub-district offices. In services like today, for residents who are busy, after recording data, they can leave the location and the e-KTP can be picked up at the sub-district office of their domicile the next day," concluded Slamet.
