Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – After seven years under the auspices of PT Singosari Sakti, Persema is now back in the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) Malang City.

The signing of the Ownership and Management Transfer Agreement for Persema Malang was carried out at the PSSI Malang City Office in the Gajayana Stadium complex, Friday (1/3/2019).
The signing was carried out by representatives of PT Singosari Sakti Didied Poernawan Affandy and the General Chairman of PSSI Malang City Haris Tofly and witnessed directly by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji and the Chairman of KONI Malang City Edy Wahyono.
Didied hopes that with this transfer of ownership and management, what PSSI is doing to restore football in Indonesia can run well. He also hopes that football will become an industry and can create good players.
"Alhamdulillah, the U-22 National Team players can become champions. That is a good start for the development of football in Indonesia," explained Didied.
Meanwhile, the General Chairman of the PSSI Malang City Executive Board Haris Tofly said that he had long dreamed of Persema returning to PSSI Malang City. Moreover, many seniors and former Persema players want Persema to return to PSSI Malang City.
"Since the beginning, we have had the ambition of only one Persema. We are now proud to have registered Persema's name to appear in the League 3 competition," explained Haris.
Haris said that currently Persema has also formed a training by starting to select players. With the training, it is hoped that it can produce reliable players who can bring pride to Malang and also Indonesia.
In addition to the handover moment of Persema from PT Singosari Sakti to PSSI Malang City, the Malang City football team that appeared in Pra Porprov VI also performed extraordinarily. Hosting Mojokerto Regency, the Malang City football team managed to win 4-0 (2-0) at Gajayana Stadium. (cah/yon)
