Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Ahead of the first match in the 2019 President's Cup, Arema FC and its fanatical supporters, Aremania, were visited by a special guest, namely the TNI Commander, Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto. The highest leader of the TNI was received and welcomed enthusiastically at Malang City Hall, Sunday (3/3/2019).
In addition to Arema FC and Aremania, this meeting was also attended by religious figures, as well as community leaders. As one of the best local sons from Malang, the TNI Commander gave many messages and motivations.
This is certainly an injection of enthusiasm for the team and Aremania's fanatical supporters who will compete in the 2019 President's Cup.
Arema FC, said the TNI Commander, is a knight, and wherever he is, he is always brave, militant and never gives up for the truth, loyal to anyone, especially to the leaders, as well as professional and shows a polite identity.
According to the TNI Commander, these characteristics and attitudes are the meaning of the unifying greeting, namely the One Soul Greeting.
"If this is implemented well, Arema will become big and respected wherever it is, and wherever it competes, it will eventually become a big team," he added.
When delivering his various messages, the TNI Commander also told stories about his childhood when he was still in school and his life with his friends. He said that he came from a very simple family.
"In essence, with great willpower and patience, whatever we want to achieve or what we aspire to will definitely be achieved well," he said.
As a form of loyalty, the TNI Commander also handed over a number of musical instruments, souvenirs, and other gifts to Aremania and residents who were present at that time. This also received an enthusiastic and joyful welcome.
The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, who on this occasion also welcomed the TNI Commander, said that the TNI Commander who was born in Malang is a figure who should be a role model.
