Malang (malangkota.go.id) – The match between Arema FC and Barito Putra in the 2019 President's Cup at Kanjuruhan Stadium, Malang, Monday night (04/03/2019) was exciting from the start. In this match, Arema FC won dramatically with a final score of 3-2.
In the first match of Group E of the 2019 President's Cup, the match was very exciting from the start. However, until the 45th minute of the first half ended, both teams had not broken the deadlock. Entering the second half, the tension of the game increased after both teams brought in their mainstay players.
However, Barito Putera managed to score first in the 63rd minute through Yakub Sayuri's feet. Two minutes later, Barito Putera added another goal through Evan Dimas after Arema FC player Gayus Hariono successfully seized possession of the ball. Evan, who was unguarded, was finally able to outwit Arema FC's goalkeeper.
Trailing 2-0, Arema FC did not give up and continued to bombard the opponent's defense. As a result, in the 77th minute, after a melee in front of Barito Putera's goal, Dedik Setiawan managed to break through Barito's goal.
In the 90th minute, Ahmad Nur Hardianto received a perfect pass from Ricky Kayame and managed to equalize.
Not satisfied with the score of 2-2, the team nicknamed Singo Edan continued to attack the opponent's defense. The result in the 91st minute Dedik Setiawan again tore the opponent's goal but was disallowed by the referee because one of his teammates was caught offside.
Undeterred, in the 94th minute Dedik showed his sharpness by scoring a goal against the opponent and making Arema FC lead 3-2.
From the results of this match, Arema FC coach Milomir Seslija felt satisfied and praised the hard work of his students. The same thing was also conveyed by Barito Putera coach, Jacksen F. Tiago even though tonight his team had to admit Arema's toughness. For him, this match provided a lot of input and will be used as an evaluation so that his team will be better in the future.
