Malang City KPU Strives to Achieve 80 Percent Participation Target

As conveyed by Malang City KPU Commissioner Ashari Husein, Thursday (28/03/2019), that KPUD is collaborating with third parties to hold various events. "On April 7, we will hold an event titled Pemilu Run which is targeted to be attended by 15 thousand participants," he said.

On April 8, Ashari continued, an Art Performance will be held at the Gajayana Arts Building and it is hoped that the participants and visitors will also reach tens of thousands of people. "In this event, we are targeting young people who are in fact first-time voters, so that later the level of participation will be high," he hoped.

Meanwhile, on April 10, Ashari explained, a super grand music concert will be held at the Gajayana Stadium which will be attended by 600 musicians. sound system very powerful. “At least more than 15 thousand visitors will fill the stadium on event which will be held that evening," he said.

No less interesting, Ashari revealed that on April 17 and April 18 there will be a selfie and vlog competition that is sure to be of interest to young people. "We have provided attractive prizes in the form of cash, and the best photo and video senders are entitled to the prizes we provide," he added.

In each event, the KPU of Malang City will deliver various socializations related to the implementation of this year's election, so that the target of 80 percent voter participation can be realized properly.
