Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – To ensure the quality and quality of service at the Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang Regional General Hospital (RSUD), East Java Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa made a visit, Monday (08/04/2019). Maximizing the quality and acceleration of services at this type A hospital, she said, is indeed very much needed and must be done, so that it will provide comfort for patients.

The need for such services is indeed urgent and also the demand from the community so that the service in government hospitals is getting better. On the other hand, in the future the hospital under the auspices of the East Java Provincial Government will become a leading referral hospital.
The woman in the hijab revealed that she had also received suggestions from residents via her personal social media some time ago to speed up services at RSSA. "Like services magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) which is a necessity for the community, which is hospital patients," he said.
"With this acceleration program, it is hoped that East Java can prepare centers of excellence for health services. For government hospitals, in addition to Saiful Anwar Hospital in Malang, Dr. Soetomo Hospital in Surabaya will also become a leading referral hospital," added Khofifah.
At RSSA Malang, he said, one of the leading services is for kidney and liver transplants, while at Dr. Soetomo Hospital Surabaya, for... stem cells. "From our monitoring results, in the two hospitals, the medical personnel and supporting facilities are adequate," he explained.
After visiting and checking the availability of medical personnel and various other supporting facilities, Khofifah ensured that the two hospitals could not only be a reference at the national level, but also internationally. "Like for kidney and liver transplant services, only a small number of hospitals in Indonesia have optimal services with modern equipment," he concluded. (say/yon)
