Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The 47th PKK Movement Unity Day (HKG) commemoration with the theme 'Improve PKK Movement Performance in Line with Government Programs' was held at the Kartini Building, Malang City, Wednesday (10/4/2019).
The Mayor of Malang, the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, and the Regional Secretary of Malang City and his wife were present on this occasion. The Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji in his speech gave many messages so that in the future the PKK would provide more contributions. This is very much in line with the shared ideals to realize the vision of a Dignified Malang City.
Sutiaji said that the role of mothers who are members of the Malang City PKK Team is very good in helping regional development efforts. According to him, the innovation and improvisation of the Malang City PKK program are also extraordinary.
"The synergy between TP PKK and local governments and stakeholders is very good. In the future, it must be maintained and improved," said Sutiaji, Wednesday (10/4).
On this occasion, Sutiaji did not only give a speech, the number one person in the Malang City Government also appeared on stage singing his own song entitled Malang City, Noble City.
Sutiaji also mandated that currently technology is bringing the world to progress. However, on the other hand, national identity, especially character education, is very vulnerable because it is eroded by the rapid flow of information. "There must be strengthening of identity and character. We hope that every PKK agenda can bring that," said Sutiaji.
Meanwhile, the Chairperson of the Malang City PKK TP, Widayati, S.Sos, MM, when reading a speech from the Chairperson of the Central PKK TP, Erni Guntarti Tjahjo Kumolo, emphasized that the PKK has ten main programs which are essentially basic human needs, starting from the appreciation and practice of Pancasila, mutual cooperation, food, clothing, housing and household management, education and skills, health, development of cooperative life, environmental sustainability and healthy planning.
"Increasing the function of the PKK movement's performance with devotion and real work while working selflessly. In addition, increasing creativity and innovation in the development of PKK programs to be in line with the government's program policy lines, all of which must be achieved through will, initiative and perseverance," said Widayati while reading the speech of the Chairperson of the Central PKK TP.
Through the theme of HKG PKK 2019, TP PKK is expected to provide ongoing guidance, coaching and facilities to PKK cadres including Dasa Wisma, so that they can maintain togetherness and mutual cooperation so that the government's work agenda through a number of development programs can be achieved.
The 47th HKG PKK commemoration which was also held in commemoration of the 105th Anniversary of Malang City and Kartini Day 2019 this time was filled with various art performances from members of the TP PKK Malang City, starting from ludrukan, fashion show and also choir. (cah/hms/yon)
