Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Departing with his family, Deputy Mayor of Malang Sofyan Edi Jarwoko appeared enthusiastic in participating in the 2019 general election process. The number two person in the Malang City government cast his vote at TPS 70, Bandungrejosari Village, Sukun District, Wednesday (17/4).
Getting ballot number 34, Sofyan Edi patiently waited in line outside the Bandungrejosari TPS room. Mingling with local residents, Edi seemed to enjoy being with the residents.
Sofyan Edi Jarwoko expressed his pleasure in being able to participate in activities at the Bandungrejosari TPS to voice his aspirations. He was happy to see many residents who came to vote.
"This activity is very important for us because it is a means of fostering friendship with residents in the midst of our busy work," explained Edi, Wednesday (17/4).
The good public enthusiasm in voting is expected to be even better for the democratic process in accordance with existing rules. This is a good educational event for the public to be able to channel their aspirations.
"I see the voting process can run smoothly without any significant disruption. This is good for the democratic process," said Edi. (cah/dmb)
