Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Synthetic Rattan Training Batch I 2019 was held by the Cooperatives and Micro Business Service of Malang City in order to provide coaching and training of work skills for workers and prospective new entrepreneurs. This training was held at the Pelangi Hotel, Malang City, Monday (22/4).

During the opening of the training activity, the Head of the Cooperatives and Micro Enterprises Service of Malang City Dra. Tri Widyani P., M.Si received a surprise that made her touched and happy. It turned out that the woman in the hijab who had previously served as the Head of the Communication and Information Service of Malang City was celebrating her birthday.
In her speech, Tri Widyani revealed that after holding several trainings, the enthusiasm of the people of Malang City to become successful entrepreneurs continues to increase. From the various inputs that exist, this synthetic rattan training activity was finally held.
"Many want to join this training because the prospects are good. But according to the existing capabilities, only participants who come now can finally join the training," explained Yani, as Tri Widyani is familiarly called, Monday (22/4).
Inviting experienced instructors, Yani hopes that the training can run smoothly and successfully. So participants who take part in the training do not just follow, but more than that, participants are expected to be able to further develop their skills, networks and also business management.
"Malang has long been known as a rattan craft center, this is certainly a big market that can be developed by the participants," he hoped again.
Meanwhile, Misriwati Agustina, one of the synthetic rattan craft training instructors admitted that the synthetic rattan business currently still has very good prospects. Not only in Malang, but at the national level and the export market is currently also very open.
"In 2001, I also started a business by becoming a training participant at the Cooperatives Office like today. Therefore, I am very happy today to be able to share knowledge with my friends here," said Mrs. Doni, Misriwati Agustina's nickname.
Carrying the flag of Dona Doni's business, Misriwati said that she can now feel the success of her business. Currently, according to her confession, she has marketed her products not only domestically, but has also penetrated Singapore, America and Japan.
"Running a business is not always smooth, there are many challenges. To achieve success, the key is to be creative and never give up," said Mrs. Doni.
Mrs. Doni said, by continuing to maintain customer trust, demand for her synthetic rattan business continues to flow. Every month, she always exports one to three containers of her production abroad. (cah/yon)
