Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Regional Secretary (Sekda) of Malang City Drs. Wasto, SH, MH conveyed various messages to all ASN in the Malang City Government, especially those directly involved in the procurement of goods/services so that it can run well and in accordance with applicable regulations. He said that these ASN must understand and observe in detail, both from the rules to the implementation of procurement.
This was conveyed by Wasto when giving a speech at the SPPBJ Pre-Award Meeting Workshop and Contract Finalization held by the Goods/Services Procurement Service Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat at The 101 Malang OJ Hotel, Thursday (25/04/2019).
The friendly man added that before signing the work contract, all documents must be ready and complete so that the procurement of goods/services can be carried out properly.
Wasto gave an example when signing a work contract, both parties must meet directly in one place. Therefore, Wasto instructed ASN who are in charge of and involved in the procurement of goods/services, when signing the work contract must meet directly in one place and sign together.
"This is also to minimize the possibility of errors or intense communication between the parties," he added.
"So in the process of procuring goods/services, the principle of caution, accuracy, and comprehensive understanding of the rules must be used. It is not uncommon for officials who are directly involved in the process of procuring goods/services to end up in court. We do not want such things to happen in Malang City," Wasto said. (say/yon)
