The polling stations that held the PSU were TPS 14, Penanggunan Village, TPS 17, Sukoharjo Village, Klojen District, and TPS 9, Bunulrejo Village, Blimbing District.

Before the PSU was implemented, the Malang City KPU made various efforts, such as socialization to residents, business owners and agencies around the TPS so that workers or employees who worked were compensated. As a result, the level of community participation reached 70 percent in the three TPS that held the PSU.

That was what was conveyed by the Commissioner of the Malang City KPU, Aminah Asminingtyas, Thursday (25/04/2019), after monitoring the implementation of the PSU. For the KPUD, although the participation rate was not as high as the Election on April 17 which reached 80 percent, the figure of 70 percent was considered high. "The implementation of the PSU is not a holiday, where most residents carry out their routines. However, the enthusiasm of the residents is extraordinary," he said.

In this PSU, Aminah said that KPPS officers together with election organizers also visited a number of residents who were sick and could not cast their votes at the TPS. "The next stage, the Malang City KPUD will continue the vote counting at the sub-district level (PPK) and is targeted to be completed by the end of April," added the woman in the hijab.

He added that the PSU this time was welcomed enthusiastically and residents did not feel burdened when they had to come to the TPS for the second time. As conveyed by one of the residents of Sukoharjo, Ita Novianti after casting her vote in the PSU this time. Great hopes are also pinned on this nation so that later the elected leaders can bring change for the better. (say/yon)
