Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Pertamina Depo Malang guarantees the availability of fuel oil (BBM) stocks until Eid al-Fitr 1440 H and even until D+10 of Eid.
As conveyed by the Acting Head of Operations of Pertamina Depo Malang, Rachmatul Adicahya, Thursday (09/05/2019), the resilience of fuel stocks at Pertamina Depo Malang, such as premium, pertamax, pertalite, pertamax dex and bio solar during Ramadan and approaching Eid al-Fitr is 7.000 kiloliters. Distribution to the six regencies/cities that are the working areas of Pertamina Depo Malang reaches 2.100 kiloliters per day, and so far there has never been a fuel shortage at the gas station.
Various anticipations have also been made, such as on busy vehicle routes that cause congestion, routes to tourist attractions and the Malang-Pandaan toll road.
"Pertamina has prepared a number of special tanker trucks in several places, so that there is no shortage of fuel. Coordination with the Transportation Agency, Police and TNI has been carried out to anticipate congestion and so that fuel delivery is not hampered," explained the bespectacled man.
At each gas station, Rachmat said that pocket gas stations have been prepared, so that when fuel stocks run out, there is no need to wait for shipments from the depot. "Likewise, in anticipation of natural disasters, Pertamina continues to coordinate with BMKG and other related parties so that when natural disasters occur, fuel shipments remain smooth," he explained.
Based on the previous year, the increase in fuel demand occurred on D-5 to D-2 of Eid and until D+7 of Eid. "The increase is estimated to reach 11 percent of the stock, and Pertamina has anticipated this, as well as the LPG stock is guaranteed to be safe until D+10.
