Malang City Government Signs Sister City Cooperation with Bone Bolango Regency Government

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji and Regent of Bone Bolango H. Hamim. Pou, S.Kom, MH signed the Sister City cooperation between the Malang City Government and the Bone Bolango Regency Government. The cooperation in these five important sectors is in order to accelerate development in Bone Bolango (Bonebol) and was attended by the heads of OPD from each regional government.

The signing of the sister city cooperation with the Bone Bolango Regency Government was carried out in the Meeting Room of the Malang City Hall, Thursday (16/5/2019). The Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji in his speech said that development in Malang City could be good because its basic is a campus (education).

He explained that Malang City Government some time ago received an award related to the pentahelix development system. There are five components, namely universities, society as the object and subject of development, the business world, the fourth is the mass media, and the fifth is the government. "This is a portrait of Malang City. Hopefully we can also learn from Bone Bolango Regency," added the Mayor of Malang.

Meanwhile, Bone Bolango Regent Hamim Pou said that the focus of cooperation with the Malang City Government will cover five areas, starting from human resource development to waste management.

"The five things that will be the focus of the cooperation later are first, human resource development (education and health), second, waste management, third, tourism, fourth, regional financial management, and fifth, investment," he explained.

According to Hamim Pou, the Malang City Government has succeeded in the five areas, namely human resource development, waste management and city planning and tourism. "Many good things have been taken. This is a strategic activity, we can learn from the Malang City Government," concluded Hamim Pou, who is an alumnus of Brawijaya University, Malang. (EM/yon)
