Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The Regional Drinking Water Company (PDAM) of Malang City will continue to improve so that its services are better and residents can enjoy clean water optimally. In the next five years, PDAM targets to add 50 thousand new connections/customers.
Technical Director of PDAM Malang City Ir. Ari Mukti, MT, Sunday (19/05/2019) revealed that every year there will be at least 10 thousand new channels, so that within five years 50 thousand new customers will be realized.
On the other hand, PDAM will also explore and maximize water sources that can be utilized, including to realize the program. Thus, water dependence from existing sources in Batu City and Malang Regency can be reduced.
"Various potential water sources will continue to be sought and will be maximized so that the water needs in Malang City are even better. Like the water sources in the Merjosari and Tlogomas areas, they will continue to be utilized to meet the clean water needs of residents," added Ari.
Ari Mukti further said that his party will continue to improve and enhance performance within PDAM to achieve what is targeted, especially in relation to public service. (say/yon)
