Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji attended the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran and the 28th Anniversary of the Al-Hikam Student Boarding School, Wednesday night (22/05/2019).
In his speech, the Mayor of Malang invited all Muslims to always be oriented towards the Al-Quran in living and living. “The Koran is the source of truth from the truth revealed by Allah SWT to the Prophet Muhammad SAW. "Therefore, the holy book Al-Quran must be a guide to life for Muslims," he said.
Whoever stays away from the Quran, will not receive blessings and will encounter many difficulties in life. "Especially during the month of Ramadan like now, those who often read the Quran will receive manifold rewards and God willing will receive abundant blessings," he added.
Furthermore, the bespectacled man said that all the solutions to the problems faced by humans are already in the Quran. In addition, Sutiaji said that the Quran is the perfection of the holy books that have been revealed before. "So Muslims must believe and have faith in it, so that in their lives they will get peace," he added.
In the commemoration of Nuzulul Quran and the 28th Anniversary of the Al-Hikam Student Boarding School, KH. M. Najib Muhammad (Gus Najib) from Jombang was invited. The bespectacled Kiai who was the speaker and gave a sermon thoroughly discussed Nuzulul Qur'an or the night the Quran was revealed. In addition, donations were also given to orphans. (say/yon)
