PT KAI Daop 8 Launches Luxury Carriage 2

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Welcoming the moment of Eid al-Fitr 1440 H and the surge in passengers for homecoming and return trips, PT KAI Daop 8 Surabaya has not only added trains in economy class, but also executive class, namely by operating the second edition of Luxury carriages since May 26, 2019.

The Luxury 2 class train coupled with the Gajayana train (Gambir-Malang pp) offers various facilities and advantages. In addition to the operating area (Daop) 8, this carriage which only contains 26 seats is also available in Daop 1 Jakarta and Daop 6 Jogjakarta, namely coupled with the Argo Lawu train (Gambir - Solo Balapan pp), Argo Dwipangga train (Gambir-Solo Balapan pp), Taksaka train (Gambir-Yogyakarta pp).

To be able to enjoy various special services on this train, he said that prospective passengers are charged a ticket price of one million rupiah.

PT KAI Daop 8 Surabaya is one of the locations chosen by PT KAI to launch the train sleeper a new type, namely Luxury 2. The seating service, explained Suprapto, is based on sophisticated technology that pampers passengers.

At the back of the train, he continued, there are public services for passengers and also a pantry or mini cafe as a complement to comfort. "To obtain this train ticket, prospective passengers can go online, a number of stations passed by this train and official agents appointed by PT KAI," he explained again.

According to him, this Luxury train carriage is one form of PT KAI's service for the community, especially during the homecoming and return flow of Lebaran. "In addition, this train can also be a solution for residents when plane ticket prices fluctuate and even tend to be high," concluded Suprapto. (say/yon)
