Surabaya (malangkota.go.id) – After the Eid al-Fitr holiday 1440 H/2019 M, the Governor and Deputy Governor of East Java held a gathering and halalbihalal with the Regional Heads and Forkopimda throughout East Java at the Grahadi State Building, Surabaya, Tuesday (11/6/2019).
This gathering and halalbihalal aims to strengthen the bonds of brotherhood in Islamic brotherhood. "It is an honor for us as representatives of the people of Malang City to be able to attend directly on this occasion to fulfill the invitation from the Governor," said the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji who was also present along with the Forkopimda of Malang City.
Through this event, Sutiaji said, friendship and communication between regional heads can be established in order to establish cooperation and support each other in the context of development in their respective regions.
"Hopefully this event will provide wisdom to us as an expression of gratitude for not only being given health but also the opportunity to meet again in order to provide the best service and continue to work," he added.
He also added that his presence along with the Malang City Forkopimda was also a form of full support from the Malang City Government for the programs and policies implemented by the East Java Provincial Government under the leadership of Governor Khofifah Indar Parawansa and Deputy Governor Emil E. Dardak.
On this occasion, the Mayor of Malang who was also accompanied by Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi Jarwoko and the Regional Secretary of Malang City had the opportunity to conduct special consultations and communications related to development in Malang City. One of them is the existence of TKBJ which is an asset of the East Java Provincial Government to be utilized optimally. (Ts/yon)
