PD RPH Holds Phase II Employee Competency Test

Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – The plan to transform the Malang City Regional Slaughterhouse Company (PD RPH) into Perumda Tugu Aneka Usaha (Tunas) is not an easy task for Ir. H. Ade Herawanto, MT.

Competency test of PD RPH employees in Malang City

On the one hand, Ade Herawanto, who is the Acting Director of PD RPH Malang City, has a moral burden to first fix the company. Starting from the arrangement of Standard Operating Procedures related to performance, organizational structure, HR personnel, to the design business plan.

It is hoped that the company, which has its office in the Gadang area, will have a solid foundation before having more business branches under the Perumda Tunas flag in the future.

"But on the other hand, I also have a responsibility that is no less great as the Head of the Regional Tax Service Agency. Everything requires extra concentration. If one is left behind, it can be chaotic," said Sam Ade d'Kross, as he is familiarly called.

Ade's explanation is not without basis. The target of BP2D Malang City entering June 2019, regional tax revenue has not reached 50 percent of the target of Rp501 billion that was set.

For this reason, with the blessing of the Mayor of Malang, Ade immediately formed a special committee (Pansus) and a selection committee (Pansel) to hold competency tests for old employees and prospective new employees who would be recruited.

After going through a series of initial stages, the RPH Selection Committee then held a follow-up competency test or stage II (second) on Thursday (20/6/2019). In addition to the manager position, applicants for IT staff, digital marketing and security positions also took the test.

"Of course, through this series of tests we are looking for a professional figure to fill the vacant position. In accordance with the Mayor's vision and mission, to make PD RPH more advanced and profitable, we are looking for people who are not only experienced, but also have the competence to bring RPH in a better direction along with the planned change to Perumda Tunas," explained Dr. Elfiatur Roikhah, SE, MM, Ak, CBV, a member of the Selection Committee who is also the Supervisory Board of PD RPH Malang City.

The same thing was also expressed by the Pansel team, namely Dra Rinawati, MM. Her party hopes to be able to recruit the best of the good to fix PD RPH in a revolutionary direction.

"We also see how motivated they are to join RPH. This is important to move towards positive change and certainly better," continued the woman who currently serves as Head of the Economic Section of the Malang City Regional Secretariat.

Another member of the selection committee, Ir Yusita Pusparini Msc, said that the experience factor is no less important as a basis for consideration. "In the interview session, we also ask about experiences that are relevant to the position the applicants are aiming for. That is also no less important than personal competence, because it is related to how they understand the workflow and productivity outlets in their future positions," she said. (hms/yon)
