The Mayor of Malang Receives the Visit of Experts from the Selangor State Government Mesyuarat Council

Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The Malang City Government received a working visit from the Experts of the Selangor State Government Mesyuarat Council, the Management of the Permanent Authority for Health, Policy, Women's Empowerment and the Malaysian State Government of Selangor Family.

The Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji and the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko received the working visit directly at the Malang Mayor's Meeting Room, Wednesday (26/6). The group of 23 people was led by the Selangor State Council (ADUN) Expert, YBDr. Siti Mariah binti Mahmud.

In his speech, the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji conveyed a brief information about Malang City, the vision and mission of Malang City and the concept of development in The Future of Malang. He also conveyed the empowerment of women in the context of national development.

The strong bond of women in institutional management is one of the assets that can be developed to elevate the role of women in community life. Therefore, the Malang City Government together with the PKK team drivers who synergize with related regional apparatuses are always committed to implementing work programs in accordance with the 10 main PKK programs implemented by the Working Group (Pokja), so that the results can improve the quality of women's resources.

This is also what the Malang City PKK Team did in collaboration with related regional apparatuses. "As a partner of the Malang City Government, in the scope of the organization's program movements, it always builds a commitment so that the work programs carried out are able to synergize with regional government programs through ten main PKK programs implemented by the Working Group (Pokja) according to their respective fields. So that in the future the PKK can improve the quality of female human resources which are directed at improving the position, skills, and independence of women so that it can accelerate the achievement of quality," explained Sutiaji.

Meanwhile, the group leader, YBDr. Siti Mariah binti Mahmud expressed her gratitude for receiving the working visit from the Experts of the Selangor State Government Mesyuarat Council, the Management of the Permanent Power of Attorney for Health, Policy, Women's Empowerment and the Selangor State Royal Family, Malaysia.

"I would like to thank you for accepting our visit. I brought the group with the aim of us learning from Malang City how empowerment programs and programs apply to women," he explained. (Rs/yon)
