Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Arema FC managed to defeat Persipura Jayapura with a score of 3-1 in the continuation of League 1 at Gajayana Stadium, Malang City, Thursday evening (04/07/2019). In this prestigious match, since the early minutes of the match, Arema FC continued to apply pressure which finally paid off.

The home team was able to score through Konate Makan's foot as the match enters the 7th minute after one of Persipura's players blocked the ball from the penalty box area less than perfect. The goal process began when Sylvano Dominique Comvalius fired a hard kick towards the Persipura Jayapura goal. The ball that hit one of the teams nicknamed the Black Pearl was blocked to the middle but less than perfect and fell at the feet of Monate Makan.
That's when the player with the number 10 jersey released his kick and could not be anticipated by the opposing goalkeeper. Trailing 1-0, Persipura players continued to fight back and created several opportunities. This condition was also utilized by the opposing team and in the 85th minute the Persipura Jayapura team managed to reduce the deficit. Titus Jhon Londouw Bonai who was trusted to execute the free kick resulted in a very amazing goal. Arema FC coach Milomir Seslija admitted that he was quite happy with this victory, because according to him his students had played well.
