Traditional markets are a means of marketing agricultural products and other products from the community so that the presence of this traditional market is very significant. So the existence of modern shops located close to this traditional market certainly has an impact. In relation to this, a number of modern shops that violate the regulations will soon be disciplined by the Malang City Satpol PP as the enforcer of regional regulations (perda).

The statement was confirmed by the Head of Satpol PP of Malang City Drs. Priyadi, MM when met at Malang City Hall, Tuesday (09/07/2019). "We are ready to carry out control and sealing if possible, and we are waiting for orders from the mayor (of Malang). The point is that we always and will continue to enforce the regional regulation, in order to provide a sense of comfort for the community," he added.

However, he explained, his party would not immediately carry out the clean-up or sealing, because there are procedures that must be carried out. Such as warnings, summonses to minor crimes or minor offenses. "Our domain is maximum in minor offenses, for legal sanctions and or fines it is the court's job," continued the bespectacled man.

Priyadi also said that currently there are modern store managers who are being reprimanded and summoned. "If there is good faith from them, then sealing or forced closure will not be carried out," he concluded. (say/yon)
