Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – In 2020, the Population and Civil Registration Service (Dispendukcapil) of Malang City targets the implementation of digital-based services so that population administration for the community can be faster and more effective. Such as the administration of birth and death certificates, the implementation of electronic (digital) signatures, and so on.
As conveyed by the Head of the Malang City Population and Civil Registry Office, Dra. Eny Hari Sutiarny, MM on the sidelines of the Malang City Smart City Development Preparation Coordination Meeting held in the Malang City Hall Meeting Room, Wednesday (10/07/2019). Various programs that are part of the smart city program, he said are currently still in the submission stage.
"The budget proposal to realize this online service has been submitted to the Financial Budget Amendment (PAK) in the Malang City Government's APBD, and next year we are targeting it to be implemented. With this online service, it will provide convenience to related parties, namely the community and service providers," added Eny.
Until now, Eny said, per day there are approximately 300 Family Cards and 250 birth certificates that must be signed. If the service is still manual, it will take quite a long time because the authorized officials are not in the office every day.
However, if it is technology-based, when the authorized official is not in the office, the service can still run and complete the services needed by the community. He gave an example such as birth certificates and marriages abroad, if still using the conventional system it will take quite a long time.
Regarding the various online services, according to Eny, it is highly recommended by the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji, because currently the City of Malang is also intense and committed to the program. smart city, especially smart government. This means that government services to the community also determine the sustainability of development programs so that high trust must be built in the community.
