Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The 2019 Job Fair held at the Skodam V/Brawijaya Building Hall in Malang, Wednesday (24/7) opened 63 stands and provided 3.755 job vacancies for 1.566 male job seekers and 2.187 female job seekers.
By taking the theme 'Quality Workforce Towards a Dignified Malang City', the 2019 Malang City Job Fair was attended and officially opened by the Mayor of Malang Drs. H. Sutiaji.
The Mayor of Malang said that through the 2019 Job Fair, it is hoped that it will make it easier for people looking for work to choose according to their skills and can meet the various specifications needed.
"I appreciate the Malang City Manpower Office for holding this job fair. I hope all candidates can meet the qualifications sought so that they can work in their fields after this," Sutiaji hoped.
He added that the companies participating in the job fair are good companies and have been selected. In the sense that job providers can guarantee salaries, health and labor insurance, and other workers' rights.
The job fair itself is a routine agenda held by the Malang City Government, so in the coming year, he hopes that the number of vacancies opened can increase significantly.
Sutiaji also said that in 2019, the Malang City Government also facilitated and encouraged existing companies to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to register as workers according to their abilities.
