Malang (malangkota.go.id) – Approaching the end of the Urban Land and Building Tax (PBB) payment due date, Wednesday (31/7), the Head of the Malang City Regional Tax Service Agency (BP2D) Ir. H. Ade Herawanto, MT again reminded the public who have not fulfilled their tax obligations.

That is why Ade appealed to Urban PBB Taxpayers (WP) to make the best use of their time. "Because if it has passed the due date, then according to the applicable provisions, WP will be subject to an administrative fine of two percent per month up to a maximum fine of 48 percent. It's a shame if there are those who don't know yet," explained Sam Ade d'Kross, as he is familiarly called.
For people who have not received the 2019 PBB SPPT, they can bring proof of PBB payment or the previous year's SPPT as a payment requirement. It can also be sufficient to show the Tax Object Number (NOP) because there is no increase in PBB.
"If until now there are still those who have not received the 2019 PBB SPPT, we apologize profusely. Because currently it is still in the process of transitioning the distribution of the PBB SPPT carried out by PT Pos Indonesia through the Malang Post Office and we will discuss the solution," he said.
Then, payment can be made at the nearest Bank Jatim payment locations, or via transfer from any bank affiliated with the Bank Jatim account number as the perception bank.
Referring to data collected by BP2D until July 25, from the Urban PBB sector which was burdened with a target of Rp 58,5 billion, Rp 45,5 billion has been received. This means that the percentage of achievement of the target has reached 77,7 percent.
Despite continuing to show significant improvements, Ade emphasized that his party remains active in promoting the outreach system in implementing excellent service to the community. For example, by opening service stands in villages and shopping centers.
Such as opening a local tax payment booth in Mulyorejo Village last week, as well as routinely opening services in malls every middle of the month.
"This way, the service is closer to the community, making it easier to reach and more effective. This also speeds up the PBB payment process before it passes the due date," said the man who is currently also the Acting Director of the PD Slaughterhouse (RPH) of Malang City. (hms/yon)
