Breadfruit (malangkota.go.id) – Inmates of the Sukun Class IIA Women's Penitentiary, Malang City were trained to make various cakes, Monday (05/08/2019) in the local prison hall.

To be able to participate in training like this, inmates must pass the selection and meet the requirements set by the prison. Especially for new inmates, for the initial stage they must follow the provision of strong mental and personality development, and have readiness.
Head of Sukun Class IIA Women's Prison, Ika Yusanti, after assisting inmates in making various cakes, said that this cake-making training was different from previous ones, which perhaps had ordinary selling value.
"This time, we are collaborating with a large and well-known hotel and inviting the cake experts they have. If it is already a star-rated hotel, the cakes will definitely have high selling value. The inmates are also very enthusiastic about participating in this training," added Ika.
The woman in hijab added that this training would certainly be something very valuable for the inmates. "After leaving prison later, the various skills that they have acquired so far, especially today, can be continued," continued Ika
Furthermore, the friendly woman said that her party would always provide the best for the inmates.
"Although they are currently in the process of being trained in prison, it does not mean that they cannot produce valuable work. If trained intensively, then a person's talents and abilities can be explored well," concluded Ika. (say/yon)
