Head of Parks Division of Malang City's Department of Public Works and Housing Ir. Kuncahyani admitted that ahead of the commemoration of the Indonesian Independence Day, his party deliberately presented a Red and White nuance, including in the park. vertical garden on Jl Kertanegara it was deliberately designed to highlight red and white flowers.
"Not only beautiful, we want the red and white nuances of the flowers in the park to make the feel of the Independence Day celebration in Malang City even more pronounced," said Kuncahyani, Wednesday (14/8).
Kuncahyani admitted that by presenting the red and white nuances, it is hoped that the spirit of the heroes' courage and the spirit of purity will be present. This is expected to be a shared example to remember and emulate the services of the heroes who have fought for Indonesia's independence.
"It's not easy to design a beautiful garden with red and white decorative plants. It takes patience, care and creativity," Kuncahyani explained.
Kuncahyani said that the red and white colors in the Vertical Garden Park are filled with chrysanthemums. This type of flower needs special attention so that it can always look fresh for a long time.
Meanwhile, a visitor from Surabaya who had just gotten off at Kotabaru Station, Hariadi, said that the freshness of this city made him even more enthusiastic to explore more of Malang City.
