Lowokwaru (malangkota.go.id) – Various efforts have been made by the Malang City Government to spur the performance of ASN to provide the best service to the community. One of them is by giving awards to sub-districts and districts that have optimal performance in various sectors.
The 2019 Autonomy Award Night was held at the Graha Cakrawala State University of Malang (UM), Monday night (26/8/2019), 57 sub-districts and five districts were selected as several high-achieving sub-districts and districts.
This annual event is a motivation for ASN to continue to improve services and discipline so that the community is well served.
Malang Mayor Drs. H. Sutiaji in his speech said, the requirements to be able to win this award are not only assessed through direct service, but also online. This is in accordance with the Malang City Government program that in the future its services will be online-based so that they are more effective and efficient.
"By maximizing online services, it will also reduce the occurrence of gratification which is the root of corruption. Therefore, every village head and sub-district head who are the spearhead of public services are required and as optimal as possible to realize this," he explained.
According to Sutiaji, the prosperity of Malang City is the work of the RT and RW heads. "Therefore, the Autonomy Award was held, the real winner is the collaboration of the community, with the RT, RW, and the conductor is the village head with the TP PKK, starting from the village level to the sub-district," he added.
The bespectacled man also gave appreciation to the village heads and sub-district heads who had achieved. "After this event, those who have not won can be motivated. We will continue to encourage those who have not achieved so that services to the community also continue to improve," Sutiaji hoped.
So far, the performance of ASN in Malang City Government deserves appreciation and this is proven by the achievement of second place in the national level village competition some time ago by Tulusrejo Village. From this achievement, it is hoped that it will be a motivation and trigger for other villages to be able to achieve similar achievements in the future, and even become the best. (say/yon)
