Kedungkandang (malangkota.go.id) – Deputy Mayor of Malang Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko attended the Bumiayu Village Carnival, Sunday (1/9/2019) which was held in order to fill and enliven the commemoration of the 74th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence.
Not only just attending, the Deputy Mayor of Malang also appeared to be friendly greeting residents and riding a horse-drawn carriage which was one of the carnival participants.
Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi expressed his deep appreciation for what Bumiayu Village had done by holding this carnival activity.
"We are proud of what the Bumiayu community has done. I hope that through this activity, it can further hone the community's love for the nation," hoped Bung Edi, as the Deputy Mayor of Malang is often called.
Through this activity, according to Bung Edi, it can be used as a place to display various creativity owned by the community. In addition, through activities like this, it can foster a sense of togetherness, a sense of unity and oneness.
"We would like to thank Bumiayu Village, Karang Taruna and Bumiayu community who made the carnival successful and so lively," said Edy. (cah/yon)
