Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – The inauguration of the Management of Perwosi (All Indonesia Women's Sports Association) Sub-District Branches & Sub-District Branches throughout Malang City for the 2019-2023 term was held at the Kartini Building, Malang, Tuesday (17/9/2019).
Present on this occasion were the Deputy Mayor of Malang, Ir. H. Sofyan Edi Jarwoko, Chairwoman of the Malang City PKK TP and Advisor to the Malang City Perwosi Widayati, Chairwoman of the Malang City Perwosi, Hj. Elly Estiningtyas and Chairwoman of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Hj. Endang.
Deputy Mayor Sofyan Edi gave his full support to Perwosi Malang City to continue working and implementing its programs well.
"As a partner of the Malang City Government, Perwosi Malang City has an important role, especially in promoting sports starting from the family environment to other social environments," said the Deputy Mayor who is often called Bung Edi.
He also hopes that Perwosi Malang City can continue to increase the role of women in the management and development of sports, especially for women, children and teenagers.
In line with Bung Edi, Advisor to Perwosi Malang City, Widayati, also said that through this inauguration and confirmation, it can be understood as part of an effort to improve the organization's ability to respond to various demands.
"Innovation and creativity must continue to be carried out by the management to face the current dynamic changes in order to improve achievements in the field of women's sports," said Widayati. (Ts/yon)
