Klojen (malangkota.go.id) – Supporting the vision and mission of the Mayor of Malang to realize Malang City as smart city, The Malang City Communication and Information Service collaborated with the Malang City PKK TP to hold workshop management of data and information on Family Welfare Empowerment (PKK) in Malang City at the Grand Palace Hotel, Wednesday (18/9/2019).
The activity, which was attended by around 140 prospective PKK Information System (SIM) application admins from TP PKK sub-districts, districts to Malang City level, was opened by the Chairperson of TP PKK Malang City, Hj. Widayati Sutiaji, S.Sos., MM.
Widayati said that the activities carried out were sharing activities with the Malang City Communication and Information Service which targets mothers. The goal is that PKK wants to have a database from upstream to downstream. Usually, he said, if the data is held by PKK, it is very accurate. Because PKK has membership up to Dasa Wisma.
"Dasa Wisma only has a scope of 10 families to be recorded. So the reach is not too wide and the data can be accurate," said Widayati.
According to Widayati after talking with a resource person from Semarang, she said that in Semarang there are regulations that favor the PKK. Therefore, why can't Malang City make something like that. The regulations in Semarang will be adopted and will be submitted to the Mayor of Malang, Drs. H. Sutiaji so that there is a Regional Budget that favors the PKK.
"I really hope that Kominfo will continue to do so. sharing activities. PKK has targets, Kominfo has activities," continued Widayati.
Acting Head of Statistics Division of Malang City Communication and Information Service, Ismintarti, SP as the organizer explained that the purpose of holding the activity was to provide understanding, coaching, and motivation related to data and information management of 10 Main PKK Programs to all PKK cadres who will later become SIM PKK admins.
"Through this application, all data, information, and activities carried out starting from the Dasa Wisma level can be stored and reported quickly to the Malang City PKK TP," explained Ismintarti.
Please note that the PKK Information System (SIM) is a website-based application that will be developed by the Malang City Communication and Information Service.
In workshop There were two speakers present to present their materials, namely Dr. Kartika Ftihriasari from the Statistics Department of FMKSD, Sepuluh November Institute of Technology (ITS) who explained the importance of information systems in supporting the improvement of PKK performance.
Meanwhile, Arif Budiman, S.Kom from the Semarang City Communication and Information and Cryptography Service explained the implementation of the information system that has been running in Semarang City. (Malang City Communication and Information Service)
